Manufactured with ease of fabrication in mind this collection is a full basket weave of vinyl coated fiberglass yarn and are designed expressly for applications.

Solar shade fabric is generally available in 3 levels of openness. A 10 open only blocks 90. Openness simply refers to how tight the weave is which directly reflects the amount of light that is let in through the fabric. Solar shades come in different levels of opacity varying from 14 1 openness.

Select from a variety of openness the larger the percent of openness the more view out and less privacy you will obtain. These shades come without cords making them child and pet safe. They tell you the percentage of uv rays that are allowed through the fabric. Fabrics with lower percentages feature a tighter weave while fabrics with higher percentages have a more open weave.

A 1 open solar shade will block 99 of the light and damaging uv rays. The premium solar shades are a high end designer collection of solar roller shades and are certified by the greenguard environmental institute. You will be able to see movement and shapes. Our 1 solar shades come equipped with a sewn in bottom rail but can be upgraded to an exposed or fabric wrapped bottom rail for an even more customized look and feel.
